2022

  • September 9: We raised our voices in the former Argentinian Ministry of Gender 2019.2023. They did not listen to us.
  • Women join in a common front against #falseallegations
  • November 18: Deputy Constanza Moragues holds the first discussion on false accusations.
  • Legislators begin to open their doors to us.
  • December 22: Sen. Carolina Losada receives us and empathizes with the cause, cares, and becomes committed to TAKE CARE OF IT.

2023 

  • January: We formed the Front of Argentinian Women.
  • Media starts talking about #falsegenderallegations
  • April 17: Lucia Montenegro opens the doors of the Legislature of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires with “The Fashion of False Complaints”
  • May 23: Sen. Losada presents to the Argentinian Senate the first project worldwide that penalizes false accusations of gender violence in all areas where it is applied.
  • May 30: First day against the public harassment of men: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p-tRd-33u0k  Fourteen Argentine provinces joined.
  • June 28: First call against prisons without evidence at the Women in Chains Obelisc.
  • The fear of exposure opens a window to visibility. We open a petition at Change.org
  • It is spread from networks and small media that help mass diffusion. We all prepare to give notes and talk about THE CAUSE and not the individual case.

2024

  • Massive dissemination campaigns begin.
  • Networks, calls, and cases of national relevance begin to raise their voices when they discover that silence enables crime to advance.
  • July: Begins the delivery of folders and projects to different legislative actors necessary for the bill
  • August: Begins the largest mass email campaign to the
    Argentinian Senate and to all senators. Thousands of emails were sent over two months.
  • Rounds begin in the Plaza de Mayo
  • October: begins the conversations for the presentation of the project. We suggest to be heard:

    – November 22: They announce that the project goes to committee
    – November 26: THE OPINION IS OBTAINED
